After coaching and analysing hundreds of adults in handstands, I’ve been able to notice patterns in what makes handstands easier to learn for certain people vs others.

Based on this, I’ve designed a system which can pinpoint exactly what your limitations are and prescribe you what you need to train to make noticeable progress. There’s a clear path of progression, so you know what you’re working towards and what you can leave to the side.

The Process/How it works

Assessment – Send some assessment videos to your coach to get proper expertise on what’s currently holding you back from doing a handstand!

Programme – Receive a PDF outlining your training and current goals and targets so you know exactly which drills to train, how to execute them and when

Training – Put the time and focus into your sessions following your plan and feel like you’re working on the right things and understanding how to make progress

Feedback – Upload videos of your training and learn how to make further improvements on your drills so you can implement them into your training and get the most out of each one!

FAQs

  • All you need to be able to do is kick-up to a wall – if you can do that, we can get you started!

  • We recommend an absolute minimum of 2 hours/week. Your programme will be split into less frequent longer sessions, or more frequent shorter sessions depending on what works best for you. We always recommend higher frequency for handstands

  • You can send a limited amount of videos every week, you’ll be provided some guidelines for this so you can make the most of the service and make the gains you’re after. It’s in our best interest for you to make progress, this gets a lot easier if you’re sending us the right videos for review, but it’s also not an obligation.

  • If you can kick-up to a wall with no pain, then absolutely. Our approach also covers drills to help prepare the wrists and shoulders for those who need it, but we are not a rehab service, so if you’re unsure just reach out and let’s chat.

  • If we decide you need extra flexibility after your assessment, then we will include it (this isn’t as often as people think). If you’d like to add extra flexibility onto your training and you have the time for it, then yes we will also cover that for you!

  • Technically all you’ll need is floor space and wall space for the main handstand drills. If you also require extra flexibility training then we will give you drills according to the equipment you have available, even if that’s no exercise equipment.

  • You can continue with our ongoing coaching at £97/month, receiving a new personalized program every 6 weeks as you progress! There are no contracts, you can just let your coach know if you want to continue and they’ll organise everything for you.
